Samsung has a new entry-level 8-inch tablet in the pipeline

Samsung's Galaxy Tab series of tablets have impressed us in the past and it looks like the South Korean company is going to keep churning out new slates until it manages to wrestle a decent amount of market share away from Apple's iPad. A new 8-inch model has been spotted thanks to it being granted Wi-Fi and Bluetooth certifications from the official bodies - these are the hoops every manufacturer has to jump through to get their goods on sale. That would put it at the same size as the smaller 8-inch Samsung Galaxy Tab S2, which achieved a respectable third place in our comprehensive list of the best tablets of 2015.

Android on the cheap However, it looks like Samsung is aiming for a much lower price point this time around - the new slate, model number SM-T375S, was listed in an Indian database with a price around US$100 (roughly £70 or AU$135). Prices around that level would put the new tablet firmly in the budget category, which is one way of distinguishing your wares from the devices that Apple puts out each year. There are no other details of the tablet as yet and Samsung has said nothing officially, but it seems likely that the slate is due to arrive sometime in 2016 - perhaps its compact size and low price will suit those waiting for something to fill the Nexus 7 gap.

Introduced the second generation of Microsoft Bandit

Microsoft has introduced the second generation of sensors for fitness belt, Microsoft Band. General purpose device comes with several new features, including more curved design than the predecessor. Priv BlackBerry 18 megapixel camera able to perform 4K video

BlackBerry few weeks ago officially confirmed its first phone Android which carries the nickname Priv which means privacy (Privacy). Intel introduces processors for gamers Skylake

Intel announced that it is working on the next generation of processors called Skylake which are manufactured with 14nm technology and designed for gamers. It is about two i7-6700K and i5-6600K processors who are open for overclocking processors. The factory will possess processors 4.0GHz and 3.5GHz frequency, but through overclocking can reach frequencies up to 5.0 GHz. Sony's Xperia Z4 might not launch at MWC in March after all

With CES having come and gone it seems the best place for Sony to unveil its upcoming Xperia Z4 is MWC 2015 in March, but that might not happen either.

According to Xperia Blog's sources the Sony Xperia Z4 will launch in the summer, not at the Barcelona trade show.

Past rumors, including a December leak related to the next James Bond film, have suggested as much, although Sony has traditionally launched its Xperia flagships in March.

This isn't definitive word, so Xperia fans can certainly hold out hope for a big announcement from Sony at MWC. Either way we'll know in less than two months.
